Before Zerosuit Samus

I dunno if you knew this, but before Samus got her Zerosuit she wore a purple leotard and had green hair, and also just wore a tank top and her undies............. Ok maybe not. Well the leotard is true, but it's orginal colors where brown hair and red leotard. I figured "where's the fun in that?" sides the green hair makes her look more retro. As for the one on the right. I think it was a reward you for got beating the game not sure seince I never played em.
